    D2 Rear Ladder

These good great accessories has anyone fitted one and had issues with it?

Does the rear door still seal well and does walking up the back / standing on these cause any issues ?

Easy to fit and sealing is... Well unchanged is the best word for it. Only problem is lower rivnuts come loose and pop out. I would use bolts and nylons there instead.

If you get one at the right price for a D1 just cut and extend it to fit the D2. Rivnuts in mine have been fine climbing up to rack, but I might be lucky.

    Cheers

PS. They look the tits too

    I echo the above.

Just make sure the door is closed when you use it as you could put strain on the hinges.

You'll end up using it to open/close the door, much easier!

D1 & D2 ladders are identical. No need to modify.

Easy to fit, just sit the ladder in position to mark where holes need to be, drill holes to suit either rivnuts or however you are going to attach ladder. I used the rivnut system that came with the ladder, just take your time if you use rivnuts.

No mate. I took of my genuine LR ladder from my 95 D1 and put it on my d2 but only with the use of an angle grinder and welder... The rear door on the d2, like almost every other panel on the d2 is different to the d1.

    Cheers
