Attached (I hope) is a piccie of a mudpod I purchased from LR Autos for my Disco 1. It's actually designed for a Disco 2 and fits in same place. I have installed VDO L to R, water temp gauge with sender in head near head bolts, volt meter, boost gauge and EGT gauge. I picked VDO cos reasonably priced and lights are green matching OEM. I have not decided if I will put another gauge or switches in blank spot. I will also be relocating my engine saver to top of mudpod to keep all gauges together.

I too have the Mudpod in my D2a, and which can be fixed more forward (closer to the windscreen) than the plans suggest as I have done so that you retain access to the rubber indent on the top of the dash.

Hi Laney,

click the link http://www.aulro.com/afvb/discovery-...install-4.html and it'll take you to my after market gauge install. I used VDO gauges (volt / boost / EGT) and bought the pod online from MUD UK. Switches are for my onboard air compressor and Centre Diff Lock. Many others have done similar too so read the whole topic thread for their contributions as well.

The guage install up on the roof look awesome. Very neat job. Did you make the housing for them?
