    SLS pump recond

Does anyone know where to source a reconditioning kit for a WABCO SLS air compressor?
    Mine is in a 2000 td5 auto.

Only the piston ring is available...

Yep.....the teflon ring is the only part available. If bore is damaged, or water ingress into parts, new or alternate pump is the only option.

Thanks, perfect, just bought the kit.
I managed to get the pump operational again by reversing the existing piston ring, as a temporary "fix" until the new kit arrives.

Pedro, no water, the insides looked good apart from the worn piston ring and some scoring of the cylinder. I suspect the unit was overworked by years of minor leaks in the system prior to new bags and fittings.
I actually clean the inlet filter often, and after long trips, and have added some rolled-up pollen filter as a makeshift pre-filter, which sits snugly over the existing filter pad.
I honed up the cylinder best I could, and reversed the worn ring to get it going.
The pressure output is near normal now (the rear raises within a few minutes) and this should improve after fitting the new ring.

Not a perfect repair, but cost-effective (read cheap!), and will probably see the old girl out.
