What front springs for 30MM lift

I have read the recent posts about ride height and have a pair of King rear KRRR04 coming from another member.

My problem is the same as I had with my RRC in that when I couple the camper trailer the front goes UP about 10-15 MM compared to uncoupled.
If I get a 40MM lift, the front goes another 10-15 and I lose caster.

On my RRC LRA made a "green" spring at 15.5 inches free length instead of the normal and current 16.1 inches , so this gave 1.5 inches or I guess 30MM lift and restored caster and drove much better.

I would like to achieve this on my D2 also but all the springs I have looked at seem to be 40MM.
Anyone know of a spring that gives about 30MM lift with no bullbar winch etc.
I thought for a moment that I could use a D2 V8 OME spring but when I checked the part number was the same as for a diesel so no joy on having a slightly lower spring.
I am tempted to use a pair of 160 Lb per inch green OEM , RRC springs that I have and cut off the flat bit on the bottom to match the D2 lower spring seat. I calculate they should give about the right lift depending where I cut the coil.LOL. Has anyone done this?

You'll also need to consider what additional weight your vehicle has in the form of aftermarket accessories (i.e. bullbar, second battery, winch, etc.) in considering the correct springs.

Since you were happy with your LRA springs last time, have you contacted them for some to suit the D2?

I spoke to Andrew At Les Richmond and they just use the flat bottom springs that are used in RRC and D1.
Andrew said that he had never had a problem doing this.
Luckily I have a set of Green OEM RRC rear springs ( same as LRA green) that should be just about perfect as they give 2 inches on an RRC so maybe a bit less on a D2 diesel.

Just to compare the D2 springs are 15 inches free length , 7.6 turns and 13.9 MM wire. The Green springs are 16.2 inches ,9.5 turns and 14.1 MM wire so near as dammit and 1.2 inches longer so will raise about 1.2 inches or 30MM.
    Should be perfect.

The extra diameter thickness of the springs might reduce the sagging resulting in a higher ride height than the 1.2 inches...

Yes that would be good to get a little more, but the Disco spring is shorter (ie at 7.6 turns the total length of wire is shorter than the RRC spring at 9.5 turns )so will have a higher rate than the RRC spring so it should even out.

A shorter spring in wire length will have a higher rate than a longer spring of the same wire diameter as it has to twist more for each MM compression given the same material.
I don't know if i explained that clearly but I hope so.
