Hey guys
What is the easiest way to drain the system to put new coolant in
Cheers
Ken
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food
A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking
Thanks bob, sorry i forgot to mention it is a td5, that sounds good and easy, i was hoping there may have been a drain plug
Cheers
Ken
well the drainplug worked a treat, too bad I didnt, I knew the bleed screw is plastic but I still managed to break it off, new one on the way a brass one this time, I guess the way to get stem out is with a ezy out, anyone have an easier way.
cheers
ken
Hmm, That can be tricky as the thread is also plastic/poly, very very easily damaged! If you drill and easy out it as it is so small every chance you will wreck it. If I were you I would just order another hose to be on the safe side.( It needs a new 1 doesnt it anyway
) When you have your new hose in hand then you can start playing with it, maybe heat a tiny, as in jewelers screwdriver and try and melt it into the broken off bit and turn it out?

Agree with Scott and Bob, I tried to drill it and use an easy out with no success if you put to much pressure on it it delaminates inside. The brass bleed screw is good and only needs to be just over finger tight.
