G'day Mate.
Test it again with the AC off and see what it does.
Twice now I have started my TD5 D2a and when I pushed down the accelerator pedal to take off, the vehicle went nowhere. There was no response of change. After 30 seconds it suddenly worked as normal.
I assume it's an issue with the electrics given the nature of the accelerator pedal in the D2's. Any ideas on diagnosing?

have you check the MAF (this sounds like what happens when the MAF is disconnected)
This sounds like the symptoms I had when I disconnected my MAF to see if the MAP was faulty. The MAP is a micromechanosensor and I'm guessing mine was getting sticky. I replaced my MAP and found a lot of my glitchy throttle symptoms went away.
My MAF is new within the last six months. It's a genuine Land Rover unit and I'm fairly certain that it has no issues as I have done some data logging using the Nanocom to ensure the tune is correct with all the other modifications.
I have driven around for a while with the MAF disconnected and I don't recall experiencing a non-responsive accelerator pedal.
I haven't checked the MAP though.
This issue actually hasn't occurred again since I made this thread.
