It would appear that I have a leak at the base or under centrifical filter housing, anyone know about this, I was told an o ring goes on them? I know of the cap one but not the other, I had a look at the rave cd but where is the td5 section all I seem to find is v8, im sure our resident gurus will know also does the turbo and manifold need to come off, if so what should I do while they are removed
cheers

There is the drain pipe for the filter under there. It has a flange fitting with a metal type gasket, also 1 where it is bolted to the block above the sump. There are 2 studs / bolts, 10mm holding it on. Sometimes they work loose and all you need is nip them up lightly. If it has vibrated for a while the casket may be damaged, so replace it and the bottom 1 while you are at it.
 Cheers Scott
PS the manifold/turbo do not need to be removed. Fiddly but doable. Mk 1 eyeball and a torch is your best tools.
