Thread: 2nd/3rd battery on chassis rail ?

The base plate I fitted was around 5mm thick which ensured the weight was mostly taken at the ends. The battery and mount survived a Madigans trip unscathed with the battery having since done aother 4 years service in my D4.

Yes I do need to consider getting second/spare compressor for my up-coming trip around Australia. I'm not that familiar with these compressors and don't want to be let down...
