    Water leak search

I've got a pretty bad coolant leak somewhere, but can't find where!! Hoping for some help.

It's definitely not the radiator or top hoses, but the problem is it's obviously dripping or running onto the belt, and then it's getting sprayed everywhere over the engine and engine bay, making a simple leak detection impossible!

I'm wondering any suggestions of places where the coolant would leak and get onto the belt?

    thanks in advance.
    Nathan

Take the radiator shroud top off, simple 1turn on the 4 screws, check that the radiator core hasn't developed a small leak and its being sucked around by the fan air.
Other check your water pump for the dribble hole .
Check the front of valley to see if sensor is leaking. Only other hose in the front section is the expansion tank hose to inlet manifold isn't leaking, of the pre fuel wamer at the throttle opening usually leak.
If your using oat it'll high light any area it dribble from, it will usually be a darker pink at the leak.

'Twas the pump. Finally pulled my finger out and removed fan and belt. Was easy to see hole with mirror. So off with pump and about to drive to parts shop to get a new one

Not impressed they didn't use a new one when they did the whole 4.6L conversion....
