TD5 Fuel Regulator Question - 5 bar?
Hey Fellas,
I have owned my 2001 TD5 auto for 6 months so far and have enjoyed the challenges of ownership.
On the weekend I installed the remote oil filter set up, cleaned the intercooler, removed the goo from intake manifold and replaced the o-rings/gasket in the FPR.
At least to say it did't fixed the FPR leak and now I have to replace the the pressure regulator, much to the disgust of my skinned knuckles.
I have searched the forum have been unable to find if any one is running a bosch 5 bar regulator or higher. If any one has, what performance gains did you have? Did the engine run differently?
Cheers

The real question is if anyone did this how long did the electric fuel pump last.
All for what benefit you can get plenty of power without messing with a TD5 in this way
