Hi Bronson,
Sorry this isnt going to help you but if you dont mind what brand panhard rod are you using?
Much appreciated.
Michael.
Hi,
Installed a 2" lift a while back, and replaced the panhard rod with an adjustable unit after my tyres started to get chopped out real bad. Just wanted to know if there is any need to do the watts link or put in a modified watts link to compensate?
Cheers

No need to modify the watts linkage. Also the Panhard Rod shouldn't scrub tyres, it just locates the axle.

The lift shouldnt affect it. The only thing adjustable is the toe which isnt affected by lift.

When you lift the front you are pulling the front axle to
one side the more lift the more sideways movement
Both axles will still be pointing in the same direction but
they will not be inline.
Panhard rod should ideally be horizontal at normal ride height.
Rear lifting upsets the watts linkage the middle cast piece should
ideally be sitting like a figure 8 with both rods parallel
liffting will drop the axle and misalign the figure 8 more when
the car is hung up on its belly with rear wheels hanging in air.

From my understanding it throws the geometry out on the front end, as the axle was thrown across to the drivers side by about 25mm.
As a result all inner edges on the tyres both front and back wore really bad, to the point where the car wasn't driveable.
Took it to a well known 4x4 workshop in MELB, that builds competion trucks and was advised to get an adjustable panhard rod. Since then tyres are perfect after replacing the worn ones
