The roof racks all the only thing that will fit. I have been told that the D1 bar can be modified but need to make sure it is airbag compatible.

There would be a lot of work in modifying a D1 bar for a D2 as the chassis is quite different at the front, plus even if it is a airbag bar the crush cans are quite different as well.

I put my D1 bar on my D2 when I purchased it, it bolts straight on, but one of the third hole on the D2 isn't there.

The side wings are about 25mm longer and protrude into the guard area, and of course the SRS on the D1 is different too the D2.

Approach angle was better with the D1 bar compared to the ARB Sahara bar I now have

Dunno about the chassis being that different as I hit a roo in my d2, they ordered a new bar when they fitted I thought it didn't look right and when I checked under neath it was for a D1. It bolted straight on it was just the different front end styling that made it look "wrong". (They ended up changing it over, easy mistake as 99 was s1 and s2) the chassis at the rear is different for 7 forward facing seats, a little longer)

This is the Rook rack. It seems to bolt through the roof.

    Anyone put one on?

What you have there is better described as a brush bar rather than a bullbar. Generally thought of as being too flimsy to provide decent frontal protection.
