Thread: 2004 Disco TD5 coolant hoses

So I've purchased a set of hoses not thinking of the differences that exist between the earlier D2s. Mine is a 2004 and seems to have a rectangular fuel cooler which differs from the earlier D2s. I should have taken a photo before ripping out hoses, but I was doing several other jobs that required hoses to be out of the way. Can anyone give some tips on where the forward facing coolant pipes on the fuel cooler go, and also where does the coolant hose with the plastic hose adapter with the adjustment screw go to. I know it sits near the fuel cooler. I can't seem to find this fitting anywhere online or a 2004 coolant schematic. Apparently 2004 had a lot of changes in terms of coolant flow. Cheers

The major difference is the lower rad hose PCH002080 (see pic attached)

All D2 Td5 from VIN 3A828207 had the redesigned fuel cooler setup.

Thanks so much. This has made my life a lot easier. This is exactly what I have. The restrictor is place inline to the fuel cooler as a plastic screw adapter. There is also an adapter just down near the thermostat as shown in the picture. I havent seen these parts for sale anywhere.
