why do I keep blowing turbos?

My 2000 td5 auto had a new turbo at 135k (PO). That blew at 175k & I replaced with a good condition 2nd hand one, which has just blown at 208k.
I love my disco, but right now I'm tearing my hair out & saying things I can't post here.

Are you letting the turbo cool down a bit(30 seconds to 1 min idling) after driving it. Longer cool down if you've been giving it some stick??

And what EGT's are you running? Is you're motor modified?

What in particular failed on the turbos? That would help identify why...

And what has been done follow the previous failures to avoid the future failure? i.e. did you just replace the turbo, or did the oil lines get replaced too, oil pressure checked, etc.

    This^^ is the key.

Oil feed is the main thing to get right.

Has the drain and feed been checked, whats the supply pressure like, what exhust temps are you running, what type of engine oil are you using are a few key questions I can think of

Was it a kaboom like this? How your turbo fails will give clues on the cause. if you have reoccurring failures you would expect a similar pattern on how the turbo is failing

Did you do the whole inlet system clean each time they Blew.
check for inlet leaks in and around your snorkel.
1 small pebble make a big mess.
    cheers
