Does this look right?
I was under the car tonight to regrease my driveshaft and while I was looking around, I noticed something that just did not look right on the TD5.
It looks like there is a missing bolt or something underneath? Does anyone know what this is or if it should look like this?
(the threaded hole that is)

Blanking plug
Blanking plug hole some have them fitted
from factory others don't
Best to fit a plug if you like the water.

I think you will find that it is the location for the crankshaft locking pin for camshaft timing.

Mine is missing as well, is it worthwhile buying the plug?

Believe me there is nothing missing from that hole as my previous post states it is for the timing pin used for locking the crankshaft at TDC for cam timing setting in conjunction with the camshaft locking pin
