    Ashcroft Speedo Correction

Ashcroft sell these Speedo Correction Kit - Ashcroft Transmissions for the TD5 defender but they don't know if it will work with an auto D2.

It appears to be made by HealTech Electronics Ltd. - Makers of the SpeedoHealer, GIpro, X-TRE, FI Tuner Pro, Brake Light Pro, MM5, OBD Tool

Does someone with more knowledge than me know if this would work and tap into the signal in the same way as the truspeed?

Has any one tried the super lift speedo correction units? TruSpeed™ Speed Sensor Recalibrator · Superlift · www.superlift.com

I was researching one of these for my Kia Sportage through the 4x4 wire website and asked the question of Michael who used to supply the trumped unit here in Aus.

He looked into it and the Unit he supplied for the disco was the same as the the Superlift one for the Kia Sportage so I bought one off him instead.

So you may still have that option of a tru speed unit but branded under superlift, just need to get the right model number.

    cheers, Chris

Just looked it up the sporty model #33002 which was compatible with jeeps and Toyotas from the superlift website

Just got off the phone with Superlift's tech support. They were able to cross-ref the info gathered from the sticker on the box and confirmed it is model #33002. The guy said, based on the info, that it was sold as a Jeep module. But he also said that they only have 3 module types. So the vehicle-type isn't critical, just the model number. So #33002 is the one for the Sporty! Thanks Everet!!!

    Hope that helps guys.

    Cheers, Chris

Does anyone know where to buy the speedo correction kit from, if Ashcroft stock for Defenders only? I'm about to purchase a GPS HUD, that will display speed on my windscreen, but this sounds a better solution..

    Thanks
