I'll get one of those too.

Both those I quoted are from the UK. I don't know where they come from before there.

Island 4x4 are selling Nissens manufactured OEM radiators for £100/$180 as a web special. That is the cheapest OEM pricing I've found and you can factor in about £55 for shipping, so about $285 shipped.

Once you start look below that pricing you are invariably looking at Britpart or other non-branded pattern parts. Island have a £83/$152 price on a Britpart pattern radiator.

If you are looking at radiators priced at $127 and less you are looking are cheaply made, sub-Britpart gear.

It's your choice but as Bob says the radiator is not something you want to cheap out on. Personally I would not touch anything except an OEM part, especially when the price difference to a britpart radiator amounts to about a 1/4 tank of fuel.

    Thanks mate.

I'll email them and see if they can supply the other parts as well. I'm trying to save on shipping by getting a job lot.

I've just sent a request for a shipping quote to Island 4x4. I ended up with £285 worth of stuff so I'll see how I go. I added a couple of things like centre muffler delete pipe. I've had 2 quotes locally for that pipe at $150. I think even with shipping and exchange rates the £44 pound pipe will be cheaper.

I went with the Nissen radiator.

    Happy Days.

They've come back with a shipping quote of 160 pound.

I was wrong about the total, it's 260.13 pound so 420.13 pound total.

    Google says that's $771 AUD.

I'll have to add up the parts cost here and decide.

    Happy Days.

My order is: (Aus prices) (Pound)

Rocket cover gasket (About $50) (£10 or $18) (Saving $30)
Oil rotor filter (Mahle) (At least $30) (£8.33 or $15) (Saving $15)
    Sump plug washer ($1)
Oil pump bolt (Cant fit AU price) (£1.63 or $3)
Air intake plenum foam (Cheap from Clark's rubber) (£9.50 or $17)
Fuel Filter (Mahle) (At least $30) (£5.99 or $11) (Saving $20)
    Radiator (Nissen) ($330) (£100 or $183) (Saving $150)
Center Muffler removal pipe ($150) (£41.66 or $76.51) (Saving $75)
    Sump Gasket ($60) (£15 or $27) (Saving $30)
Pipe, Radiator to Expansion tank (About $25) (£5.83 or $10) (Saving $15)
Head light covers (More than $100) (£37.50 or $70) (Saving $30)
    Injector Harness (About $100) (£20 or $37) (Saving $17)
Oil Filter (Mahle) (At least $20) (£2.50 or $5) (saving $15)
Wheel Nut (at least $5) (£1.99 or $3.50)

Total saving at about $400 or £217. So with shipping at £160 pound or $300. I'm saving about $100 ordering from the UK but I'm buying a heap of stuff that I probably wouldn't normally be buying.

Someone please tell me to do it or recommend another place to maybe get some better prices.

    Happy Days.

I buy all my gear from here. Ask them for a quote and postage costs.

    Home > Britcar (UK) Ltd

If you know all the part numbers you can check the price parts yourself as there is a currency converter on their site.

Even for $100 I would still get it from OS. Not sure if one business in Oz could get them for you and there will be postage costs on top of that.

Just good to get home and see a package with all the gear in.

    Regards
    Andrew
