I'm not ready to build any yet but I'd like to get to them one day.

I think they are pretty simple but there's something about the bottoms of the doors not being straight or something. You dont have to follow it but it looks better if you do. I doubt I'll go to that much trouble. I'm thinking some RHS with the ends capped off at an angle to match the wheel arches then using steam pipe for the bends on 50mm pipe for the rails.

There are some pictures in a thread here of some that look pretty trick.

    Happy Days.

    Thingy,
I am half way through building a set to these exact plans and have hit a snag.
In the third drawing, the middle dimensioned profile has a 10mm outward offset. I have not been able to achieve that neatly as it impedes the seam weld of the box to the channel. In essence you can only weld along the seam as long as the gap remains small. Once it opens out to 3-5 mm there is just too much fill.
I experimented with spacers and decided it compromised the strength.
I have decided to dispense with that 10mm offset and weld all the way along.

    Anyone else found this?

I am also using round for the outer tree slider portion to soften the look a little.

    Cheers
    Ralph
