fault - Injector 1-5 open circuit
Hi Guys,
has anyone had this fault come up on the nanocom? Reason being last 2 days when I have gone to start the D2 it took a tad longer to start up and missed a bit then started... today it wouldn't start left it, locked it came back 20mins later it started... just checked the ECU and there is no oil in the plug, but im thinking it could be injector loom? just want to confirm with you guys could this be the problem
cheers

How about checking the battery voltage first.
I have had this when the engine died while travelling at 60KPh when the contact on the negative terminal lost contact.
When the ECU reads under a threshold voltage it stops.

Also check the main wiring loom.
There was 2 points from recent threads worth a look.
1 was as the loom wound it's way around the manifold.
The 2nd was under the header tank.
In both cases the loom had rubbed through and the injector wires were exposed and intermittently earthing.

Crook CAN signal most probably. If no oil at bottom of ecu, (where CAN wires are) then wiring issue.
