    Wiper Blade replacements

    Hi guys

    Just wondering where you get your replacement wiper blades from.
    The last cheap set I bought (bout $30) from eBay UK are utterly useless ... They bounce, moan and grind all over my windscreen like a $2 hooker!

    I just6st bought a set from roverlord. Still to put them though.

    Search for roverlord on ebay.

    We got ours from DLS on eBay, have been on her for over 2 years now and still good. I have purchased a few things from DLS now and price is very good and delivery is quick, from eBay and the DLS web site

    Swap the arms for D1 arms and the worlds your oyster for replacement blades.
    TRS Chip ,D2a I/c, Silcone Hoses, EMS2, 2" Lift, BFG KM2s, QT Diff Guards, 4X4 DE Guard, Shadow Bar. VRS Winch, LR Light Guards, .50 CDL, Provent 200, Slickrock Disconnects, Rovadrive Sump, G4 Roof Rails, D2a SLABS ECU, APT Sliders.DBA Rotors. ABS Ext.

    Its easier than that. Just take to the existing blades with a grinder/dremel and in 2 mins you are done and it will take standard blades - ie no need to replace the arms each time. I have no idea what LR were thinking with the idea of replacing arms and blades in one, but it was bloody stupid over engineering. Since when does an arm fail. Mine are 12 years old and 240,000k....

    What mod do you do? I recall just changing the blade.

    A removal of some material to allow standard end of blade to fit in and lock. If you bought yours second hand it probably had the mod done already. Cheers

    I bought a set of blades from AutoOne, they were too long. So I slipped the old ones out, measured them, cut the new ones to fit and stuck them on.
    They're not fantastic.
    I have a knock from my wipers so severe I can feel it through the pedals
    Keep in mind if you're getting funny noises it could be the nuts on the arms coming loose, remove the windscreen plenum cover and check them out
