    4" lift options

Been doing a fair bit of off-roading of late the 2" lovalls hd springs and shocks are not giving me the body clearance I need mainly in the rear. Have looked at body lifts but are not road worthy in WA. Have decided on terrafirma 2" spacers with spring retainers and dislocation cones. I have got 50mm+ brake lines ready for when the spacers turn up. Obviously going to have to drop and tilt the front cross member. Am I right in saying I can swop the sway bar links front to rear for better articulation? Also will the watts linkage likely to bind up??

    LRA do a complete kit:

    Performance Suspension Kits

Otherwise you could purchase Terrafirma products separately:
    TF525 - Spring spacers http://www.terrafirma4x4.com/product...=TF525&grp=347
    TF517 - Spring spacers http://www.terrafirma4x4.com/product...=TF517&grp=347 / TF526 - Spring spacers http://www.terrafirma4x4.com/product...=TF526&grp=347
    TF523XT - Rear spring dislocation cones http://www.terrafirma4x4.com/product...F523XT&grp=301
    TF533 - Front dislocation cones http://www.terrafirma4x4.com/product...=TF533&grp=197
    TF524 - Coil spring retaining plates http://www.terrafirma4x4.com/product...d=TF524&grp=78

You'll still need castor correction (which Terrafirma also sell), to adjust the rear shock mounts (White Tiger kit spaces them down 2") and the watts linkage may have some issues (the White Tiger kit spaces it down 2").

Have order'd the above bar the TF 533, waiting to hear how much and if they are available. Yeah I saw the 2" white tiger shock mounts. Going to check out the castor correction arms and bushes.

Thinking correction arms or bushes, panhard rod, rear shock mounts, possible rear propshaft conversion to UJ joint and watts linkage mod.

Body lifts on SRS equipped vehicles is not legal by ADR's, as for spring spacers I'm not sure on their legality either. The watts link will bind at 4" for sure, the option is to get new arms (around $600- US$ from memory) or the LRA kit if it's available outside the 4" package it comes with. You'll also need to extend the ABS lines as well as they come close at 2" and would rip out at 4" for sure. The sway bar links, I'm guessing you don't have ACE? Rather than swap front for rear wouldn't you be better off with the longer option all round and just get a replacement set of whatever is the preferred option?

The reply I got from uk supplier...

TF533 is only at the prototype stage at present.

One of our Technicians will soon be fitting a set to his Discovery 2 to confirm that they're fit for purpose. Once he's happy I'll hopefully be able to advise you of production and then delivery dates.

They are not priced yet, I'll keep you updated as and when possible.

If you need dislocation cones your springs are wrong!

Get some progressive coils made - won't cost any different to a set of cones, and will work better.

So most parts have been order'd. No luck on the front dislocation cones until they have trialled the prototypes but going to see how it go's with out them. Will take pictures a long the process of installing the extra lift.
