    headlight glass td5

Hey guys, is the glass changeable on the headlights or is it only a 1 piece unit, the reflector is in excellent order so would be good if the glass was changeable

    cheers

    Which model?

D2a are a sealed unit. I note you say glass but not sure if you mean glass or plastic.

    Regards

    Strictly speaking they are polycarbonate!
Sorry my CDO (its like OCD but the letters are in order)got the better of me
The D2 is toughened glass In theory it would be possible to replace the glass, but cost prohibitive due to labor involved

They are a complete assembly minus globes. You can get glass and polycarbonate.

And for the record, the TD5 uses the same headlights as the V8 models...

I don't recall them being too expensive when I cracked on. I think it was a Marelli or something part.

Hi have a 2003 Discovery, the polycarbonate headlight lens went all dull & hazy, I tried the lens restorer kits but the results were very disappointing, I discussed the headlight lens issues with a panel beater they said they could get them back as good as new with a cut and polish, and they did, they are as now as good as new.
