    Chinese Turbos

    My turbo is on the way out and I need a new one (99 D2 Td5 Manual).

    After researching refurbing and prices of new ones locally and in the UK, I decided to look at sourcing a chinese copy.


    I can get a turbo landed here for $350. The problem is it is a minimum order quantity of five.

    Hello,
    I would be looking at a VNT and a TD5 Inside remap, when i changed mine it was cheaper to get one from BAS landed was a new one here, lots of extra power. As for Chinese ones not to sure how they would go.

    Pretty much all the Alibaba sellers put a high minimum quantity but will sell any. Aliexpress is there just for smaller volumes too.

    Chinese quality covers the entire range. From absolutely perfect to awful.
