    D2 auto trans lights flashing....

My D2 auto trans "drive" light is flashing on the shift console and instrument cluster . Did a quick search from my mobile but no relevant results were returned. Any ideas anyone??

    ECU has had a hiccup.

Turn the car off. Lock it with the remote. Wait 30 seconds. Unlock & start it up.

    Should be good.

If not, start looking at the ECU plugs. Slabs on the passenger side footwell firewall, and the trans ECU under the passenger seat, i think.

May find it is just a loose connection.

Did you happen to shut the vehicle off while still in D? That can cause it aswell - Do as Basil135 has said and it should fix it.
Do you get the green M and S lights flashing on the dash aswell? May be your XYZ inhibitor switch on the transmission playing up.
