    wanted lock nut key -brisbane

Hi every one, about 6 months ago i replaced my lock nuts with standard wheel nuts as these were on so tight and were damaged trying to remove, anyway i through out the old nuts and lock nut key, this morning i went to remove my spare wheel to flip the bracket (to fit 265/75/16 tyres) and i didn't realize there was a lock nut holding on the spare is there anybody in brisbane south/west that would have a H pattern lock nut that i could borrow? maybe catch up through the week just to undo the one nut.thanks mrjc.

A cold chisel and hammer will get it off. I did exactly as you did not knowing there was one on the spare.

I was 800 km from home.
    Dave.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."

A decent tyre shop should have a universal locking nut removal tool kit. They will be able to remove it without any damage to your wheel.
