    Give Diamond lock & key in Osborne park a call. They were recommended by my mechanic a number of years ago. Recently I had a long conversation with them recently regarding tibbe key's and locks for an xj40 jaguar and they were able to answer my questions.

    Graphite is a waste of time.
    Silicon or Inox is about the best, short spray onto the keyway then put the key in and out a few times . . .

    Hi Gavin

    Same thing happened to us. The link below describes what we did. The locksmith I mentioned was a normal domestic locksmith, not an auto specialist. That was in 2011 and the repair has held thus far with not even a hint of trouble.
