I had EFS springs and Coilrites in the Pathfinder and they did a great job. BUT

I wouldn't go down that path again without thinking very hard. I found great for when I was carrying a load but found them pretty stiff when empty with only 5 PSI in them.

I would second getting the SLS going again. Wish mine had it..... King springs only this time around..

I also think the ride depends on how you fit the Polyair airbags.

On my RRC with a 2inch lift, I initially fitted the airbags with the supplied bottom spacer, which made the airbags part of unladen suspension.ie even empty they were up against the top mount and pushed the car up 10MM with say 5PSI.
I then tried them without the spacers, and in this case they sat about 10-13MM below the top mount ie they were not active unladen.

The ride without the spacers was as per factory HD and the bags still worked well by supplementing the load leveller when the car was loaded. the springs were 180Lb per inch LRA "orange".

On my Disco 2 I have fitted King plus 2inch which are AFAIK about 220Lb per inch ( or about stock) . I find that I don't need airbags with my campertrailer on with say 80KG nose weight and full load.

However the unladen ride is understandably much worse than the RRC.
My D2 front springs are RRC green (RRC 82 rears 160Lb) or exactly the same as I had on the RRC.
I don't lknow how BMW/LR managed to destroy the ride so well. It is probably the enormous anti roll bars.

    Regards Philip A
