Hi, you might not be able to adjust the hinge but fix the back support to not move... check out the attachments(from left to right)... disregard the VIN thing, it's irrelevant
Hi guys, i have a question for the brains trust. I have noticed a frequent rattle coming from the second row passenger seats. On further inspection today I noticed there is a fair bit of play within the back support hinge mechanism. Any ideas on how to limit this and hopefully stop this rattle? I couldn't find any bushes or parts for adjustment.
Thanks for your time.

If only I could have gotten that to work, mine still rattle and carry on.
Is there a better design with the seats, in terms of a newer build date. Don't mean to hijack the thread
Cheers

that technical bulletin was emitted in '99 so it's normal to cover only the modells up to VIN XA...... , that's why i said the VIN is irrelevant cos there is no service bulletin after that for this issue so it wasn't fixed by the manufacturer no matter which modell was it, they limited themselves to sell the excentric collars IMO
