Yes Roverv8 you're right they are a fantastic vehicle. I'm just getting over the cost of this. Had the additional unexpected cost of:

1. New top hose
2. New heater hose
3. Refacing exhaust manifold
4. New fuel block/regulator

All up looks like it cost me approx. $5300 with labour including the extra bits. A lot cheaper than I was quoted by 2 other respected Landrover mechanics ($6500-$7000) so I'm happy. Picking car up tomorrow, apparently now I don't have any oil leaks either, so that's a bonus too!!!! Lets hope my investment in my new AMC head will pay off, we'll see?

Did they remember to refill it with oil

Well it may be my imagination, but it does seem a little smoother maybe, or perhaps less rattles, might be the new engine mounts not sure?!?!


It is driving really nicely though! I do love my Disco!!!!!
