    Wiring loom legend?

Hi all, I have another question for the brains trust. Does anyone have a legend for the ignition wiring looms. I'm trying to to tap into them to install a UHF.

    Thanks for your time,

If your console(or close) mounting use the power wire for the cigarette lighter.
This will allow the radio to turn off with the key as it's on the accessory curcuit.
My book shows a Light Green wire with a White tracer may be what to look for.
The rear plug power wire is a Purple with a Green tracer
    Cheers, Kyle

If you plan to place your UHF in the trays on top of the windscreen as I have, there are accessory on wires already there for the sunroof .

You can tap into them if you have a sunroof, or just connect them up if no sunroof.
Just root around in front of the mirror and you will find them.

This is good news for me Philip.
My UHF mounts to roof on the centre section between the trays.
It's wired live to the 2nd battery but I've got a modification in mind.
I bought a 2 way switch to wire in to give it a live 2nd battery feed or an accessory one.
I've been putting it of due to locating the accessory wire where it is.
Thanks for the tip, I'll go for a look as it will make easy.
    Cheers, Kyle

Thanks all for the input, but the UHF instructions say that it requires a negative terminal circuit. I have no idea why? I decided to wire it direct to both terminals.

I'm wiring up the spot lights next weekend so if i find a legend I'll post it.
