yes you can get your eka with a nanocom
I don't think you can change your eka
yes you can program key fobs with a nanocom but you will need to get a new blank to get a key cut

Can U not just swap the Key "Blade" from one to the other? Negating the need to have a key Cut?

If its just he buttons, U can buy a new case/blade and solder on buttons off Ebay for about 12 clams.

as above with the correction that you can even set what EKA you want with nanocom, i changed it to be like my card's pin code to not forget it, it's good to put in your own EKA anyway with a combination of small numbers to be easyer to insert...the best way is to read it with nanocom cos there is a chance that the previous owner changed it then the one from LR main dealer will not work.

That was a question I meant to ask,can we,and how do we swap his key"tang" over to the wreck key.
I think he has been using the damaged key for some time and its now beyond a new set of buttons.He fashioned a sillycum repair on the weekend,says it fell to bits.Hasnt tried locking the vehicle fearing a lockout,it already shut down on him before repairing the key.

Thanks,I think I have seen change EKA code when looking thru the options.
