I found the easiest way was to remove the instrument surround plastic cowl, and fish the two C6100 wires up And join in near the C0230 plug. C6100 brown wire to the Pink/Green from the ECU and C6100 Blue/Green to the Pink/Green going to the instrument plug C0230.

    I have used the following switch settings;

    01011010 for 235/85R16

    10101010 for 245/75R16

Every tyre make and model will be slightly different, even if they are the same size, but should give a starting point for you.
Cheers Kelvo, thats exactly what im after.
    So Brown > ECU
    and Green > Dash
    White is unused?

Ive done the pre-fishing of the wires from the C6100 up from behind the dash (id done it before running my lightbar to a factory binnacle switch so i knew exactly where to poke the wires)

All thats left to do is actually snip the pink/green-trace wire and connect the module in as you've suggested.
then connect it to power(ill use Slunnies guide to double check acc source) and ground it.

One other thread ive read suggested
11101010 for a 265/75r16 so ill use that as a base.
Failing that, ill chime back in here with a request for help to decipher how to work out the ratio and adjust accordingly.

While ive got the dash off, i may aswell replace the blown odometer globe too

Correct, the white from the C6100 is unused. I taped the end up to stop it shorting on anything.

I found that my speedo was out by 8% measured against GPS, but I am a bit anal (265/75 R16 Cooper ST).

Its worth checking the error with a GPS at various speeds as the error varies with speeds. I set mine so the speedo is accurate at 100km and it ends up that an actual 50km shows 55kmh I think it is. I have the Truspeed though, which also uses trimpots rather than dip switches.
    Cheers

I had heard this so when I did mine(C600) I checked it at 100Kph, 80, 60 and fifty and I found it to be pretty right at all these speeds.
    Dave.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."

    Hello d2dave,

Resurrecting this old thread to ask how your C6100 Speed Ratio Interface has performed since you installed it back in 2014..

Good news because I’m about to invest in a C6100. Saw your post of 17 Sept 14 and will try your switch settings for my 235/85/16 shod steelies.

NB: whilst cruising at 100km/hr via cruise control my GPS gives my actual speed as 108km/hr.
