    They are chalk and cheese, I was alwAys of the assumption that the D2 was just a tarted up d1, with a few flashier bits. But wow, there's only a handful of things that are the same!

    Have the best of both worlds and buy my D2a!

    D2a, 4.6L conversion, sequential LPG - so have 60L gas and 85L petrol for range. cruising around the city I can get up to 800+kms from both tanks out of a fill. Country driving would be heaps better.

    nice ride! but im looking to go desiel for the range it gives and its everywhere!

    Thanks guys ! this is the info i was looking for , now to choose... im thinking a 2004 ...
    im going to miss my d1 v8 , so much fun !
