For that money I would try someone like TRS for an original one
    with correct Knob/sticker etc
Will look better, possibly less noisy and know to fit and work!
    Cheers

looks a bit like the unit I had installed. Whatever the unit you choose , if your car is a manual be sure that there is no interference with the sump plug. The unit I have needs remval to change the gear box oil , as it was assumed that most users would have autos.

I had a unit installed by the Ritters Melbourne when I bought my car. Works pretty well and makes a huge difference when your off rd.

If it interferes with the oil plug on my manual no one has mentioned it.

Unless your gifted in the mechanical line I would get a Land rover shop to do it with genuine parts.

I may pop out from time to time up hills... this has happened to me 3 times but apparently is not common. Again I am very glad I had it installed.

Anyone have any feedback on these units from Poland?
Look very well made and at last check, works about $100 than the UK kit
(1170 Zl to Aud is around $390 + post- UK kit is closer to $500 on exchange from memory)

(Google translate tells me that this unit replaces the factory shifter- which is what i'd like when i fit difflock)

They also have some pretty trick looking Diff guards/slider at $110

Or you can do the improvised version which is cheap but works a treat: http://www.discoweb.org/cdl/index.htm but use a proper lenght flexible wrench extension like this

    (that's what i did)
    Discovery Td5 (2000), manual, tuned

I saw these when I looking but read a few comments about the open design letting in noise and water to the interior.

I hung out for a genuine Land Rover closed one and glad I did.

UGLY! Although can't see why they wouldn't work , it l ooks so much like a remote from and old outboard motor or something of a 60's dragstar bicycle gear changer. An Ashcroft one looks more factory, or get a second land land rover one . They look like they are meant to be
    Each to their own though

    Hi Ray

I am thinking of doing same as you, with Ritter. Still going strong? What was the charge (ball park)? Thanks.
