    i would love some led tail lights but they are ugly

    I don't overly hate them, but they protrude out further and wouldn't be compatible with the protectors so it's a no from me!

    I actually don't mind the styling, but the price!

    Once a reasonably priced LED pod comes available I'm in!

    I don't get it.
    Pay 100s of dollars to replace bulbs which may fail once every few years and cost $4 each with an ugly assembly ?
    If LED bulbs are so desirable just buy them.
    Also a D2 is not now the height of style or individuality.

    If I still had the d1 I'd think about replacing the brake light bulb with LED replacements,, but this one doesnt seem to blow them

    I put led brake light globes in my 02 d2 and it brought on the 3 amigos. Changed the globes back to normal ones and reset it and the amigos went away.

    co-incidence or is there bulb feedback....would be crazy if lower amp 'bulb' caused problems...
