    Hi ShaunR,

Sierrafery is on the money, changing the main engine loom while expensive is worth doing. I did mine and the engine ran much smoother. Oil in this loom is not the only problem as they do age and break down.

Being a tightwad I replaced only the injector loom. I cleaned the ECU plug then removed the gasket so oil could drain. Well really you have to remove the gasket before spraying or the solvent swells it up.
Check the ECU plug every couple of weeks and spray it.
All the injector contacts are at the bottom on a D2 so with the gasket out excess oil just drops out the bottom.
I did mine about 18 months ago and the oil stopped after about 3 months and no problems since .
I have kept my original loom and sealed the plug with araldite, and if I have a problem again I will refit it.
I also soldered the wires from each injector plug and fitted a crimp connector, but found no evidence that the oil comes from the injectors. I MHO it is from the poorly sealed plug.
