People go to a lot of effort to fit a 7100 360/80 to the front with the remote canister and rose joints. If you fit a Patrol GQ/GU rear Bilstein from Australia you will end up with the same valving and you can run it the proper way up so you dont leave the shaft extended - but check your lengths as they are longer so suit a 7100 application but not a 2" lift application.
Heasmans in Sydney will give you more help that you could wish for and they can make any modifications if required via their motorsports division.
I will also be looking at shocks and springs soon probably a 2" lift. Will depend on how generous the tax man is this year. I have a 2000 Td5 with ACE and all its original bits.
I have been looking at the kit type installs from OME or Tough Dog, are these no good or should I be looking at individual components as this thread seems to be discussing.
Springs from this manufacturer, shocks from that one, bushes from someone else. All seems to get a bit messy to me. I would have thought that one supplier would of have components designed to work together for maximum ride and handling abilities. But it i'm no expert.

Thats interesting, So they must get some done here and use overseas to make up any shortfall maybe. I just scraped the dirt off 1 of the old 4x4 monroes that had been on the D2 and it had made in Mexico. Got some other Monroe types laying around so will do a check of them and get back.
