Fabricating Winch cradle for EBC alloy D2a bulbar

Just though I would mention I'm having a winch cradle fabricated for my ECB alloy bull bar. The bar itself already has a hole for the fairlead as standard. I called ECB to purchase an insert for the winch but they told me they don't make a winch bar for the D2 only for the D4. The cradle will mount perfectly to the same mounts the bull bar uses and requires no modification to the bar or anything else. If I crash into something the winch will move with the bull bar so it should not effect the airbag deployment either.

I was considering purchasing a discrete winch mount that bolts between the chassis rails, but the design i didn't like. I wanted the bolts that mount the winch to be under no sheer load load when winching. This would mean the winch would need to mount vertical. All the winch cradles I've seen mount horizontal such as:

Shane , the $49 special winch tray, has more holes in it than a swiss cheese. Check the load rating , it might only be designed to pull out azealias with one of those ebay special up to 1500kg boat winches.
    Cheers,

    Cheers Mars.

I'm not going to buy one of these. Just want to use it as an example of the design i'm trying to avoid. I concur with your comments related to strength.
