or.... if fitting the fpr with the inlet manifold in place, the 'o' ring on the sealing face can easily dislodge and fall out without the installer knowing. Also, remember that there is a small long thin filter behind this 'o' ring that fits snugly inside and if it has accidentally fallen out, the 'o' ring may not seal against it, meaning the 'o' ring will not compress properly and may not seal, in turn causing a diesel leak.
