    Indicator/Directional Fuse

Hi all hoping you can help.

I have a 1999 Disco 2 TD5. I lost my left hand indicator and isolated the problem to the fuse in the fuse panel next to the steering wheel. I am talking about the square box type fuses (or maybe relays) not the normal blade type fuses.

In doing this I pulled out the squarish yellow fuse which is indicated as the left arrow on the inside of the drop down door of the fuse panel.

In doing this I also pulled out a larger yellow fuse under the indicators. There was only one of the larger fuses but have the ability to have two, unfortunately I did not pay much attention whether this larger fuse went to the receptacle closer to the indicator fuses or the one lower. There are pictures to indicate what the fuse is for. One of the pictures looks like a door with an up and down arrow and the picture below looks like a gear box with a lightening bolt through it.

As I said I only had one of the larger fuse and not sure which one it was for as nothing seems to be effected.

Secondly can I get the smaller yellow square box fuse from Autocheap/Repco or do I need to go to the dealer.

Many thanks in advance and hope this all makes sense

    Merry Christmas Peter

    Relays

If you have swapped over the top two relays
and the other side is now working you have
    a faulty relay.

    Relays
    R1 LH indicators small
    R2 RH indicators small
    R3 Rear window lift large
    R4 Ignition V8 large

    Relays

Thanks for your reply Scot much appreciated,

As you suggested is exactly what I did in swapping the relays which showed one was faulty. Noticed you say 5 pin yet mine is a 4 pin, whilst I have not gone to look not sure I could put a five pin in as there is only four holes.

As for the two larger relays get that not needed for the v8 disco as mine is diesel but not sure what the rear window large lift is for, as I say whether it is in or not in does not seem to change anything.

Anyways ta muchly for the the response and with the different models available should be able to get a replacement, hopefully.

    Regards Peter

    Rear windows

The upper of the two large relays is for the rear
    electric windows.
