Is that kit the one with the different grades of sand paper?

I tried that kit and the headlights didn't stay good for very long. I've now just bought the buffing goop instead. Less effort and same result!

Yes it is the one with 4 different sand paper pads. I think the longevity of the clear effect comes from reapplying the UV protestant.

Opps! What I meant to say was that , following a tip in a previous thread on here, I used autosol metal polish on my D2a lights. Need to give them a good rubbing but I can tell you it works well

I used Meguiars Headlight Lens Correction. I removed the lights, removed the painted part from the bottom, then followed the instructions on the box.

I spent about 30-45mins on each light. Check out the pictures for the results, i'm thrilled and it does make a difference to the effectiveness of the headlights.
Shane, how much for the product?
    Cheers,

Or $4.00 for a can of Aerogard... And a rag.

Then buy some 3M Clear sheet (has UV filtering in the sheet) and apply over the headlight - will prevent it coming back...

I got it from Autobahn, I think it was about $30.

Is this an adhesive clear film? Where can you buy it?

When you're finished the headlight makeover
I use autoglym bumper gel to maintain the finish and is easier to apply
    Cheers smally
