Hi after i tried stage 1 i was pleased about how it works and bought a stage 2 as well which makes the difference...it's more power and very "agressive" with it only a bit smokey uphills with my boat attached but that's not strange with a stage 2 cos it's the same with my friend's facelift too which was remapped via obd port...now i'm swapping chips from time to time according to my needs as a socket was soldered instead of the old chip which i can reuse now if i want to... but i dont... i've fitted chips like those for some other friends too and they are all 100% pleased... it's the same like what a remapper would do with a MSB ECU who will fit a new remepped chip as well cos he can't do other thing with it nor change anything after the chip was fitted...i can't recommed it enough and even if you have to pay somebody to solder the socket it's half the price of a remap IMO

    Hi sierrafery
Couple of questions, first are these the same as the ones from tachosoft who were selling them a couple of years ago?
Also where can I get the sockets?.
    Thanks in advance

Hi, yes, the guy who makes them still has Tachosoft in his signature, the chip comes exactly like in the ebay link together with the socket(just that they didnt do the DVD yet) so after the socket is soldered instead of the old chip you can swap chips when ever you want...that's what i'm doing... i just bought two of them after the listing has ended and he made them for me, if you are interested email Mark Deeley <de03ley@gmail.com>
