Yes - i have tested my EKA as well and i have had a regular key cut in case i get caught out (i lost the key blade from the fob once). Take your key blade (removed from fob) to a key cutting booth in any major shopping mall and get one cut. The key blank for the job is a SILCA NE27. You need to tell them that otherwise they'll turn you away with "no we can't do those sort of keys"

Now, how do I use an alpha/numeric code in EKA?
It's hexadecimal so if you've got letters mixed with digits, A=10, B=11, C=12....and so on untill F, example 2A6C = 2-10-6-12, procedure attached

Welcome, another problem with EKA code is that it's changeable with tester(nanocom can do it as well) there are owners(like me) who are changing it to be easyer to insert cos for example a 7B9D code is quite laborious to be inserted, it's not compulsory to have numbers greater than 9 in it to work, i decided to never sell the car so i changed it into my card's pin code in which the greatest number is 6 the others are below 4 so it's easyer to insert and i dont forget it... so in case the previous owner(or one of them if there were more) changed the EKA what you get from the main dealer will not work even if you proceed as in the book, the best is to read it(or change it) with nanocom when you get it plugged in and remember it well, then if you sell it dont forget to give that EKA to the new owner

To the OP - if you're still chasing your details for your car - call another dealer with your proof of ownership as they should be able to help you once confirmed.
