... the only risk with this setting(which is an option by factory not some bodge) is that somebody can unlock with a fake key as to open the door switch too(so gently with the latch) and pills some goods which are in the car at that moment...so the choice is between this possibility or the risk to be immobilised in the middle of nowhere due to a roof receiver or fob failure, that's all, and as i said it's a matter of personal choice that's why that option is a built in feature
