CV Boot
Gday All,
I finally got around to changing the auto transmission fluid on the weekend, its made a noticeable to the way it changes gears (a positive change!)...but thats not why Im writing.
While I was under the car I noticed the passengers side CV boot is split all the way around and grease is now able to find its way out, and grit etc is able to find its way in...I was driving on the sand a couple of weeks ago and Im concerned some may have made its way into the CV grease, so I want to get this sorted ASAP! From what ive read, it looks like a pretty full on job, have any of you undertaken this? How was it?! I can see a boot and grease kit on ebay for $40 so its not an expensive fix...maybe just pain in the arse fix?
Thanks.
