    Angry D2 won't start

Hi all this is my first post so hope it is done correctly ... please let me know if not !
I acquired our d2 se a few months ago and it has been running fine ..... Until at 5.30 on Saturday morning when we were about to head off for our first road trip

Started fine was idling smooth for about 5 minutes then stopped, 10 minutes later it started fine idled for a couple of minutes the stopped

It now sits in our front yard looking very sad

It sounds like it is turning over fine but just doesn't fire

    It is a v8 petrol

    Appreciate any thoughts

Without putting a code reader on it , we are just guessing, but my first thought of the most probable reason is a dead fuel pump.

    Fuel Pump

I'll vote for a fuel pump

I had that. It runs fine on start but as you drive it, it looses power until cuts out.

Check to see if the carpet in the back has already been cut.

I removed the whole back end as the RAV told me to only to find that someone had cut the carpet. Would have saved 2 hours work.

    Although I don't really mind. If I learn something I'm luv'n it.
