Thread: fuel tank sender on disco2 td5

Just got a new genuine one to fix my low fuel warning coming on at 40ltrs left, any tricks i need to know fitting it

Cut carpet just under the storage boxes if its a 5 seater, Clean around sender really well before removal

And before you cut carpet, just check it is not already pre-cut just inside the rear side storage units. I found mine was pre-cut after pulling both side storage bins out. Could have just loosened the bins at the base and the carpet would have pulled up.
