Hi , if it took 30 mins for the tk fluid to turn green it means either a tiny leak or that he had it running in the workshop and it picked up the CO from the landys or other cars exhaust fumes , for that matter tk fluid left lying around the workshop on its own will turn green after 30 minutes if it's exposed to air, was the cooling system pressurising before getting hot ?. Try filling the expansion tank nearly to the brim and get someone to rev engine while you look for any sign of air bubbles.
Haven't seen leith for a few weeks
    Cheers

she was pressurising and blowing hoses so I drained some coolent and it hasn't done it since as for the trickling noise I swoped the heater hoses over and it stoped but I am thinking about fixing the head or getting an other disco and swoping all my goodies over

    Hi Gezza,

If your head is cracked I have a good head on an engine with only 200K on it plus a heater core all on my spare 2001 D2 in Margaret River.
