power steering issue

Hey guys
my pump groans when you turn the wheel, the fluid goes pink like milkshake which I assume is aeration, it was leaking a little bit around the hose and was waiting for the new O ring but now I think the pump has failed, am I correct, how much would you pay for a pump and is it a hard job

If the fluid is aerated the pump will groan a little ... and the fluid for the D2 PS is special PAS fluid (Penrite do a PAS suitable for the D2).

... it ain't red ... or pink.

Thanks for the reply, could it be the dextron oil that's in it, although it has been running with it for a while
