    Td5 disco dual battery

Hi I need a power supply that is live constantly with ignition on. Can someone suggest a wire I would be best to piggy back off?? It's for a dual battery setup setup. I don't really understand electronics that well but I presume it is so that the starting battery is closed off and not drained when the car is turned off

I'm not sure about the ignition being always on, have a look at

    This could meet your needs.

Look here for some ideas .... http://www.aulro.com/afvb/discovery-...ml#post1640143 also scroll to post#9 on the link and theres a pic with an IGNITION ON source arrowed (green arrow) and that's the one that I used for my dual battery controller. A regular automotive female spade connector fits perfectly.

PS: The "ADD-A-FUSE" thingys are now available in NARVA blister packs at your favorite automotive supplier

I'm not trying to be rude... But if you are having trouble locating something as simple as the power feed for the stereo, can I suggest you take the car somewhere and have it done/installed for you...
You are dealing with a bucket load of current and things need to be absolutely spot on/reliable.....
    I'm just sayin.....

The rest of the job is pretty simple and is done. I prefer to know where the wires are then get someone else to do it and therefor have no idea about my car. Just personal preference and desire to learn
